Shearing is the process of cutting flat metal products. We can cut a variety of shapes and sizes. Shearing allows for flat sheets and coils to be cut down into shorter sizes and lengths. At Great West we can shear various gauges and thicknesses of mild steel and aluminum products. We shear gauges ranging up to ten gauge. We can shear mild and stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum as well as sheet plastics.
